The organizer of the Universal Marimba Competition Belgium 2026 has announced the Solo Category results and the first- and second-prize laureates in the Marimba Duo category.
Solo Category
- First Prize: I Hua CHEN (Taiwan)
- Second Prize: Chia-Yu LIN (Taiwan / United States)
- Third Prize: Oleksandra MAKAROVA (Ukraine) and Jungsheng HUA (China)
The first-prize laureate received a Ludwig Albert signature Adams concert marimba. In addition to product and cash prizes, all four laureates received full scholarships to the Ludwig Albert International Marimba Academy 2027.
Marimba Duo
- First Prize: Shi rui CHEN and Shuang Yi LI (China)
- Second Prize: Alexandru-Dumitru SILIAN (Romania) and Bing-Syun CHEN (China)
The results followed the competition’s Grand Finale on July 18, 2026, at Academiezaal in Sint-Truiden, Belgium.
