Marimbist Setsuko Kutsuno presents a recital under the theme “Let’s Go on a World Tour aboard the Marimba.” The concert takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at MUZA Kawasaki Symphony Hall’s Assembly Room. Doors open at 13:30, the performance begins at 14:00, and it is scheduled to end at 16:00.

The first half includes Chopin’s Raindrop Prelude and Nebojša Jovan Živković’s Ilijaš for solo marimba. Pianist Hiroki Arakawa joins Kutsuno for works including Kreisler’s Tambourin Chinois, Milhaud’s Scaramouche, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee — Bumble Boogie, the first movement of Bach’s Violin Concerto No. 2 in E major, BWV 1042, Piazzolla’s Libertango in an arrangement by Fumito Nunoya, and Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm.

Isao Nakamura performs as second marimbist in Akira Miyagawa’s September Notes. Teket lists general admission at ¥4,000 and student admission at ¥2,000, including tax.
