Loop Kumamoto Music Festival 2026 takes place from 13:00 to 19:30 JST on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Civic Auditorium Searshome Yume Hall and the surrounding area. The festival is conceived as a place where people and cultures connect through music, with Kumamoto as its point of departure.
The festival chair is Kumamoto-born marimbist Ria Ideta. The official site has announced Ria Ideta; violinist Maki Kawakubo; electronic musician Sakura Tsuruta; drummer Akira Nakamura; bassist Zak Croxall; pianist Yuma Matsuoka; piano-and-vibraphone duo Glass for Two; Heisei College of Music; and Ria Ideta Band of Color, a marimba-led ensemble. Further artists are to be announced.
