quick question regarding the competition rep list
does the performer just pick one piece out of the list for each round? is it required to play one concerto piece? or just any of them?

Here is the translation.

Entrance Fee:
A Class (Under 18) 20,000 yen
B Class (Over 18) 30,000 yen

Repatoir:
(1) One piece each for the preliminary and Final,
which cannot be the same piece, and which
must be choosen from the list provided.

(2) Accompanist must be prepared by the entrant.
Piano will be provided free of charge.

(3) The comittee has asked major Marimba
manufacturers to provide the instrument.

(4) The pieces that entrant play must be submitted
at the time of application. It cannot be changed
after it has been submit.

(5) Pieces must be played from memory for both
preliminary and the final.

(6) The performance may be truncated but it does
not affect the result.

Fax the application to the commitee. The application
form can be obtained either from
(1) "Mostly Classic" magazine, April 10 and May 10 issue
(2) by writing and sending self addressed envelop to the
comittee.

(3) Please send the application fee through the Japanese
post offices.

(1) All the travel expenses should be paid by the applicant.

(5) Applicant must obtain the sheet music by him/herself.

* No Duo competition will be held this time. (It is planned
