I have become in deep pursuit of a 5-octave marimba for my home. I've looked into Yamaha, Malletech, and Adams and I like them all. I'd prefer a Malletech 5.0 over any of them...but I am looking for a company who could work out some sort of payment plan....because in case you didn't know, these instruments are highly expensive. Lease? Payment plan? How can I pay for it?
I think woodwind and brasswind (www.wwandbw.com) will do this, but I have no details.
Mike,
have you tried MARIMBA ONE? They may be willing to work out a deal, I don't know for sure. Ask for Ron Samuels.

I realize this post is a few months old, but hopefully still relevent to you.
Good choice on the Malletech as it is the best instrument in it's class, and IMHO, blows away the Marimba one which uses Oval aluminum resonators.
The guy you want to contact is Ward Durrett through Mountain Song Music. You can reach their web site at
Ward has a store in the Estes Park, Colorado area. He is an authorized Malletech dealer. I can personally vouch for Ward that he is the most reputable dealer in the industry. While he does not personally finance the instruments, I know he works with some local banks to secure financing options.
