I am getting from time to time such a suggestion that this board should be made a registered users only board, so that we can avoid occational splash by the "trolls".

What is your opinion on this?

I don't think that it is necessary. We seem to just have a single troll here, and his messages do not bother me that much. It actually provides a bit of comic relief for this board. And it is interesting to see his fixation for Gordon Stout. I guess the world of cyber-stalking has reached the deep dark world of professional marimbists!
