Hey all...
A friend of mine (sax player)and I are going to start playing together as a duet - We have talked about the Divertimento and some great Maslanka works, and I have written a decent piece for soprano and marimba... but are there any other worthwhile pieces out there that you have played or heard? Any help would be appreciated...
Thanks,

Hi Ryan,
Check out the winner of the last PAS composition contest. I forget the name of the composer and title, but it is published in a Percussive Notes issue in the not too distant past.
Also, I have a piece - Duo (Dance-Song) for soprano saxophone and marimba, which you can purchase through my website gordonstout.net or from KPP.
Good luck.
