I am going to be living in the New York area this summer and did not know that marimbas could be rented. Does anyone know of a place in NY that rents marimbas?

I have been renting marimbas to middle school age students
to seniors in high school for the last 10 years
in the Midwest...(Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Tennesee)

the instruments range from 3.0 octaves
all the way up to 4.6 marimbas

Steve B. is starting to rent in Texas...

I dont know of anyone renting out East
but maybe we will hear from someone...

Ayers Percussion rents marimba in New York City (and probably to the surrounding area). This is by no means cheap though. Also, I think Carroll Sounds is another rental company, but I don't know if they do long-term.
Mark Josefsberg ( http://www.markjosefsberg.com/) rents vibraphones to his students are reasonable price, maybe he has a marimba to rent as well. I think he lives in Queens.

Ayers has some really good equipment. Van percussion carries some quality instruments as well. I think that they are in Dobbs Ferry NY.
