Does anyone know how many of the King George Marimbas there are of each range (C-C and F-F). There is an F-F on ebay. Were there 50 made of each or is one more rare than the other?

I just looked at the Deagan marimba on E-bay. It is NOT a King George. It is one of the 1933 3 1/2 octave World's Fair Marimbas.. There were 75 of these and 25 of the 4 1/2 octave C-F marimbas made...

I was a member of Musser's "International Marimba Symphony
Orchestra" and still have my King George Marimba. There were 20
20 C-C marimbas and 80 F-F. These were all tuned to A-440
instead of the A-442 of present production. This difference
amounts to about one thirteenth of a semi-tone and is just
barely perceptible to someone with excellent pitch (but not
to me).
