What is the diference with the concert and moto-cart frames on a marimba? I'm guessing its the wheels, but I am not sure.
Thanks

I have schools that own both. The musser 4.3 moto frame is heavier, its base is made of a tubular type metal that can with-stand much more abuse that marching band moving can dish out. Yes the wheels are much stronger, and some can be retro-fitted. We bough a "moto" frame(Jarvis) for our 3 octive musser xylo. It works alright, and are thinking of buying the one for the vibes. We are a NON marching Junior High, but my band director seems to like the security they offer.
The concert frame was NOT made for out door moving. It doesnt have the suppoprt to with-stand the pressure it would get from footbal games and competitions. Although I also saw a few that had homemade cross supports bolted on with hyped up wheels that help when you gotta take the board out to the ball game.......
