I would have to say that a piece that I have played and the audience just loved was Frogs. I think its by Abe, but I am not sure.

I definately agree with the Rosauro Concerto (esp. the 3rd and 4th movements). I was planning on playing it next year for my highschool senior recital. The only setback was that i heard the parts are really expensive(does anyone know if this is true?).

An older one that I've rarely heard played is the Daruis Milhoud Concerto for Marimba and Vibraphone. He's better known for his percussion concerto but this is an equally fine piece with all his lush, somewhat austere harmonies.

It's not four mallet but I love Tambourin Chinois. Not to terribly long, but super catchy.
