Is the Alan Hovhaness "Fantasy on Japanese Woodprints" written for marimba with piano and percussion accompaniment or is the piano just a reduction to an orchestra part? If there is an orchestral version, where can i rent parts? Also, how would you compare the Hovhanes Fantasy to the Rosauro Concerto

Even if it does work with a single piano, I think a lot of the intention of Hovhaness was to eventual drown out the mallets towards the end of the piece (my impression?). I'm not sure how it would work with xylo but with marimba there's that drowning feeling by the orchestra.
