Frank,
I know you've played a lot of Abe pieces, but I was wondering if you've ever played any of her duets. I've never heard them. If anyone knows about these pieces I'd appreciate any info on it.
"Tambourin Paraphrase" for 2 [5-oct] marimbas is very cool. I had the opportunity of seeing Abe and Rosauro perform it together at PASIC 2001. "Conversation in the Forrest" (4 1/3 & 5-oct) is definately my favorite of all. I believe it is based on the solo work "PRISM" (if not the other way around). "Wind Sketch II" is another good piece. I've only heard bits and pieces of it, but what I heard I liked very much.
That's all I can help you on, but I hope it's informative.

Well, not all Abe pieces are my favourites though...........
Variation, Michi, Dance of Cherry Blossom,
these are my most favourite pieces..............
But her duets are pretty nice, Chris has mentioned,
my favourite is also Conversation in the Forrest...
But some more duets that i recommand.............
Nagyova Marimba, Zikovic's ultimatum II, and Kopple's Toccata (Vibe + Mar)............
They sound nice, u can try them.........
