Speaking from both sides of the concerto audition situation, I definitely recommend WITH accompanist (provided, of course, that it is a GOOD accompanist). The committee will be looking not only for an excellent soloist, but also for a quality piece. Hearing the solo part by itself may not give them much idea of an unfamiliar piece.

What kind of auditions?

If you're auditioning to win the chance to perform with an orchestra, or auditioning for some other performance opportunity specifically, then almost certainly you would audition with accompaniment.

If you're auditioning for a university percussion program, you may or may not need an accompanist. At the university auditions I've been involved with (on either side of the instrument), I don't recall any percussionists having an accompanist for any of their pieces. Given the great number of instruments on which one performs at these auditions, and the limited time available to hear each of these auditions, one probably wouldn't play an entire concerto - or even an entire movement from a concerto, for that matter - and that would make it even less likely that an accompanist would be booked.

If these are indeed auditions for entering a university percussion program, ask the head of the percussion department at the school(s) if they wish to have an accompanist incorporated into the audition. I'm guessing not, but it never hurts to ask.
