Hello all, I am researching the use of five and six mallets in mallet keyboard percussion performance for an upcoming dissertation titled 'extended multiple mallet techniques'. Can anyone help me with any information about marimba (or vibraphone) artists, compositions, techniques etc... in this area. Thanks, Tim

I would be interested in hearing as well, as my Wind Ensemble is performing Nelson's "Savannah River Holiday" in an upcoming concert, and as is compulsory of the Holidays, there are of course some 5-mallet sections.

If you are a PAS member, check the PAS Publications Archives. In the December issue 1996 you can find an article by Dean Gronemeier. Michael
