I'm studying Xenakis "rebonds", the second part.I have reached to the part with the woodblock. Does anyone know if i should play it with three sticks? Or how do you roll in one wood and play the flam to the other???

What seems to work best is to 2 sets of woodblocKs or temple blocks stacked on top of each other and leave a little space to get the mallet between the two. When you roll you use both the upstroke and downstroke in the roll which comes out cleaner than doing 1 handed crush rolls.
