Can anyone tell me about the piece "Footpath" for marimba? I know it's by one of the 'Daves' (Friedman or Samuels), but that's all i know. Instrument range? Difficulty? Is it hip?

Thanks in advance!

Best,

CJT

Hi,

About Footpath: it's by Dave Samuels, 4 1/3 marimba, not terribly difficult, and it is funky piece (is that what you mean by hip?) Have no idea where you can find a score, by try asking Dave himself, his website is at http://dsamuels.com/.

All good wishes,

footpath is an ok piece. I'm not a big fan of the intro but the end is pretty hip. I wouldn't consider too difficult...about rhythm song difficulty. (maybe a little less)
