Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a mini-disc recorder for recording -- most of which will be solo marimba. Any performers out there really happy with certain recorders? Would love some recommendations.

Hi Jennie,

I have a portable mini-disc recorder that I really like. The quality of the recording is incredible. It is the Sony MZ-N707. It is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I have no complaints about it. Make sure to get a good stereo powered microphone (Sony also sells these).
