I'm just starting to learn Etude for a Quiet Hall, by Christopher Deane, and wanted to know if anybody had any suggestions on which mallets to use. The composer suggests a hard core with a soft outer wrap, but I was hoping for some input on brand/model.

When i played the piece i used Malletech LS17Z 2-Tone mallets.
