Hi guys and gals ! Does anybody have any specific tips for a rh player to improve his one handed left hand rolls please (maybe specific exercises from Method of Movement or Idiot-Kinetics)...and WM-did you play one of the Reich Counterpoint pieces on your visit to Manchester,UK,in the late 80's?

Cheers
MH

There are no specific exercises for one-handed rolls in either MOM or IDEO-Kinetics, but you can easily create your own. Many players I know began with the first few pages of Stick Control, plus a blend of MOM single alternating & double lateral.

Yes, I performed at the RNCM in 1985, 1987, and 1991, and had a marimba version of Reich's Vermont Counterpoint for the 1987 and 1991 tours, both of which included recitals at the South Bank's Purcell Room in London.
