i need to know if there is a good recording of fissinger suite for marimba

Luckily, I have my Steve Weiss Music catalog handy, and it has two recordings listed:
Rainer Kuisma--Virtuoso Percussion Music
Jeannine Maddox-Vogele--In the Sea

I haven't heard either recording, though, so I can't comment on quality.

Historically, the first and probably best recording of the Fissinger is by Vida Chenoweth. I am not sure if the re-issue of her LP is still available, but you could check with Weiss of Harvery Vogel about it. It is an incredible recording. Gordon Stout
