Has anyone played with these? I want to buy them to use mainly on marimba. I don't know if I should buy the med hard (blues) or the med soft (pink). Can anyone tell me if the pink projects well in the higher end on marimba? Because I'm afraid the blues might be a bit too hard.

I don't know about those two particular models (the only set I own is the green Dave Pike model), but is there a particular reason you are wanting the Musser Good Vibes? There are quite a few other brands of good marimba mallets on the market for a lot less money.

If you're concerned about projection in the upper end, I would get the blues(M235)or maybe even the purples (M237). I think the pinks are going to be a little mushy up there.

I kind of agree with Lawless, though - I think I would go with Malletech, Innovative, or maybe even Balter (the "Performing Artist" or one of his other newer series are not too bad). But by all means, use whatever you're comfortable with.
