Well, I have all the brass shining like new! I cant believe my aunt painted them with silver paint.. She also painted all the wood black. I have a pic of my grandpa standing behind it but its a very old polaroid. Besides that there is only one pic on the internet at the museum in Oklahoma. Is there someone out there who has one who can tell me how the wood is painted, or can send me a few pics? Unfortunatly the shield in the front is missing, my uncle may have it, he is looking.. The story on this thing is it used to belong to my grandpa's teacher who is supposed to be a famous teacher out of Kansas City, I even have the mallets, and a box of sheet music that was sent to my grandpa to test out for him. This has been a fun project. I cant wait to finish it!
