My son plays mallets in his high school marching band. It's getting cold enough that it is difficult to keep the hands moving. Any thoughts on gloves that can be used that will not send the mallets flying? Thanks, Pat

Many drum set makers offer "drummers' gloves" which may be worth a try,or failing that some thin leather gloves which would help the "feel" of the sticks,a potential problem with cotton or other such fibres.

Cotton gloves with a little bit of a stretch will do fine. The trick is to tape the gloves to the wrist.
