Hi all,

Help~~
Any one know if the tremelo (A-C) in the 4th movement (pg 15, 2nd stanza last bar, beat 3) of Alec Wilder's Suite for Flute and Marimba is intentional, and how one would approach playing tremelo with mallet 2, 3 while mallet 1 and 4 playing moving lines?
Ta~

I just played this piece on a recital. I'll have to consult my score...however, I can tell you we discovered a few errata, both in the marimba and flute parts.

Best,

Grant

Hi - I do not play the roll there, I treat it the same as the 3rd beat of measure 2. i also have a roll in beat three of measure 8 that I don't do. Some of the things in the piece get a bit cluttered if not edited. I really enjoy playing this piece. Greg
