I am currently working on "Sea Refractions", and would like to gain some insight on what type of roll(s) Peter's had in mine when he wrote this. Perhaps he left this up to the performer. In any case, those that have performed this piece, educate me on how to approach this piece. It looked easy at first, but I am learning as I go that it is not as easy as first thought.

Just use the traditional roll: Vertical and alternating double-stop hands
You just want roll so that the note changes/transitions are connected so everything sounds smooth.
