when i playing the begining section, i would like to have a warmer sound, i use Encore NZ6. 5, 4, 3
but i find it very difficult for the higher register
what will u do in this piece?
will u change mallets in between or use 2-tone mallets?
please give help~!

you could change mallets if you wanted to.
personally, i prefer a darker sound with more attack for the beginning, so I used four A. putnam mallets, and since those sound very nice played quietly, and in the upper register, I used them for the entire piece.
