Hallo to everybody!

Could anybody help me please: how can I clean the bars of my marimba from fingerprints, sweat, etc.? Is there some secure matter for all types of lacquer?
Thank you very much in advance.

Some swear by lemon oil, a furniture polish, while others advise a cloth dampened with water only.

i swear by lemon oil...no oil or wood treatment with soap in it and no water. water will ruin the finish and eventually the wood. the oil should be lightly applied and not leave too much residue, just enough to treat the wood. greg
