Incidentally, I will come back from Costa Rica to San Francisco on the 20th, then fly back to Tokyo on the 22nd.

It seems like I just missed this message and you are probably on your way back to Japan.

I am originally from Costa Rica, although I now live in the USA where I teach at the University of Minnesota. Please let me know if you are going to be going there again and I will be happy to put you in contact with my colleagues there. There is a very active music scene in Costa Rica, and some very fine marimbists and percussionists, many of them former students of mine that I know would be happy to spend some time with you.
