Just off the top of my head, you could try Ayers Percussion (can't remember if they are on 47th or 49th street), Drummers Collective on 14th street. You will have to pay an hourly fee at both places. There are several colleges/universities in the city, but most of them have security regulations, so they may not let you in with out a school ID. I hope that this helps you.
