I am new owner of a marimba. The tone (or pitch) is a bit
sharp. I checked it with a guitar tuner. Anyhow, is there
anyway to change the intonation so that it sounds more in a
good key? Is there anyone reading this near College
Station, Tx.? Thanks for your help.

Alan,
Is your marimba tuned to A440 or to A442. Guitar-tuners are mostly tuned A440 by default. So I think your marimba is tuned to A442 and is not too sharp. I would definitely keep it that way.

Another possibility is that the resonators are out of tune.
You can check this by hitting a dead stroke on the depending bar and than listen to the resonating sound in the tube. You will easily hear if it is out of tune.
Mistuned resonators tend to bend the sustained tone up or downwards.
