Can anyone give a recommendation for a good synthetic marimba? We are in the process of purchasing one at our school. It will have to be used for both indoor and outdoor. What about Yamaha's Acoustalon marimba. It sounds pretty close to rosewood, right? Would this be my best choice? Any other suggestions?

the Yamaha accoustalon is definately the best choice in a synthetic marimba. It has very nice tone and is very durable, and to top it off, it projects really well too!
