I'm getting a new mallet bag. I'm torn between Malletech's Stevens Model and Innovative's Tour Bag. I haven't used either, but I would like some input on them - quality, durability, etc. Also, what holds up better - corduroy or leather?
I havent used Innovatives tour bag, but I have the Stevens bag. It's great!! It is pretty durable and the side pockets are great!!! I've put everything from my practice pad to jeans in there..you can fit a lot in there. IT gets really heavy pretty fast though. But it is great. Another bag you might want to look at is the Grover Pro Percussion Bag (not sure about name of the bag, but it holds a lot and looks really cool, but wont attached to a keyboard)

You might want to consider the Tuxedo bag. It probably will not hold as many mallets as the Stevens bag but I think that it
I'm not familiar with the Innovative bag but I would recommend the Tuxedo bag over the Stevens bag. The reason is because if you want to grab a pair of mallets from your bag you have to completely unfold the Stevens bag because it zips from the bottom. The Tuxedo bag zips from the top making it much more practical. It also has the side pockets that the Stevens bag has and I think they're about the same size.
the dude's that play for ice cube use Mike Ballter mallet bags, they're the best.
I don't know about the bags that you're looking at, but I have a Grover Mallet Bag and it is great!!! It holds tons of mallets in it, it's tear and water proof and only about $50.00 for it. You ought to take a look at Grover instead.
This chick Amber has no idea what she's talking about. Steven's bag rules!!!
