does anyone know of any good songs for about an intermediate level i can play marimba with a small jazz quintet? (bass, kit, marimba, sax, piano). i would like to try out a piece on the marimba, rather than continually playing vibes all the time.

(I saw the other post where you said this didn't have to be a "jazz" piece, but a couple of questions...)

Are you looking for suggested jazz standards to play over - something involving improvisation?

Are you looking for something which is more thoroughly arranged, offering minimal (if any) improvisation?
