Emmanuel Séjourné

Emmanuel Séjourné is a French composer, percussionist, and educator whose work ranges from classical to improvised music. His Concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra, commissioned and premiered by Bogdan Bácanu, has become a widely performed part of the marimba repertoire. He is head teacher of percussion at the Strasbourg Superior Academy of Music and Arts and associate professor at HEMU Lausanne (as of July 22, 2026). As a performer, he has premiered more than 100 works.
