I have a friend who got up and walked out of Mark Ford's concert at PASIC last fall. This is not a person to do that ever, so it must have been really bad to him. He did not have much to say about it other than he really did not like it.
I agree that it is hard to compare the two head to head. We will get in trouble trying to compare any great musicians like this, though. Just enjoy their music and what they are trying to express in their own ways.
