Now that you have a good flavor of the colors the marimba can produce, consider exploring Japanese repertoire since that's the music that really put the marmba on the map. Any of Ms. Abe's pieces or the one's she had commisssioned for her which ares till played everyday would be a great next step. Pieces like "Time for Marimba" by Miki, "Conversation" or "Torse III" by Akira Myoshi are also great pieces.
