I am thinking about dusting off the Basta Marimba Concerto and taking it round the local concerto competitions. Two questions: 1) Has the orchestra parts for the Basta ever been unearthed? 2) Rumors had it that the orchestral accomp for the Basta did not sound as good as the piano version. Can anyone who has heard the orchestral version give me their opinions?
