Re KAZAA and so on: I agree with Jordan - bootlegging is not ethical. People make and sell recordings in order to make a living, in order to support their desire to keep on making music. If you want the music without paying the price, play it yourself, or grow up, take responsibility and support others' playing.
As regards buying stuff from Steve Weiss, that's not a viable option if you're in EU countries, as (I think) the original enquirer is - in the UK, for example, if I buy CDs from the states I get the cost, plus the shipping cost, then import tax on all of that, then VAT on top of all THAT. This adds around 22% to the price. (Oh, and then the British Post Office charges around
