Kelon is a Musser brand-name. If you mean SYNTHETIC, then Yamaha's ACOUSTALON is ok, it's almost similar to the sonority of a "real" rosewood marimba. I think Adams' synthetic may be the closest I've heard/played on. All I have heard of Padouk keyboards is negative, though. I've heard rumor that the wood is too light, and that it is not uncommon for keys to jump (more than normal) when played at reasonable levels and thet timbre is thinner, lighter, and frailer, as well. I will have to agree with those before me who have said that the best bet is to make the investment to buy a rosewood instrument. If you cannot presently afford one, then hold off on the purchase of one, you will rarely really need one of your own, anyway, unless you become a true professional not affiliated with any schools or organizations whose instrument(s) you can use. (I definitely cannot afford a rosewood instrument right now, but I really don't intend to make a purchase of an instrument until I can)
