Mr. Youhass,
Perhaps you could help me, I have a 4.3 Deagan marimba, maybe 25 years old, the low B has lost it resonanace, the other notes, low A, B flat and C sound great. The low A may need some help but the B sounds terrible! This model, as you probably know, has two different slots the resonators can move in and out of. I've experiemented with both but they do nothing for the B! Also the lowest E flat will sometimes resonate a bright, sharp cracking sound when I apply some force to it, is that the wood or my sticks?? Thank-you very much for your time and help. Greg Samek
