Dave,

Yes, there are 2 recordings of Prism Rhapsody that I know of, but they are both non-commerical recordings. One recording is availible through Ohio State Univ.

Also, When I perform Prism Rhapsody, there are about 4 or 5 different grips that can be used for the 2 different sections. The main grip I tend to use starts with a normal cross grip and you can add the third mallet either in-between you middle and ring finger so that the mallet goes in-between the other 2 mallets in your palm. Or you can add the third mallet in-between your thumb and pointer finger, also so that the 3rd mallet comes in-between the other 2 mallets inside your hand. <~~~(I would use this grip) Another girp is a little easyer to grab but a bit harder to actually use. Start by placing the first mallet on a table point diaganally to your right, then place the second mallet pointing stright foward while the butt of the stick is sitting on the butt of the first mallet. (Like your stacking the mallets. Then place the third mallet pointing left (stacking it on top of the second mallet) Now you should have the 3 mallets stacked at the butts of the mallets. Now, put your middle finger in the space in-between the middle and right mallets, and put your pointer finger in-between the middle mallet and the mallet on the left. Just pick them up and you should have the grip.

Well, there are many other ways to hold 6 mallets, but it is very hard to explaine over e-mail. Good luck with Prism. It's a very cool piece!
