I stumbled across an arrangement of Pachabel's Canon not too long ago. yes, I know, Canon in D is over-played @ weddings, but those are the versions that aren't arranged by Nanae Mimura. This is a "must hear"!!

Go to Honeyrock Publishing (www.honeyrock.net) to hear an MP3 sample (from 'Home', go to 'Solos', then 'Mar. & Xyl.' It's the 8th from the bottom). Once I heard it, it was an immediate reaction to buy it. AFter learning at it, i have to admitt that a few of the variations are REALLY tough, but it's worth it. IMHO, though, I'm not a fan of the ending choral. See what ya think of it!

Best,

CJT

PS For some reason, the segement that's played in the sample seems very "Levitan-esque" to me.
