Good review! I will give my two cents about Adams compared to Marimba One. Adams has narrower bars and is easier to transport. So its an over all convenience. The Adams you can play harger in the low end, because the bars are thicker. Doe to the norrower bars, I can get chords easier on the left hand. The Adams has more seperation of notes, but I have found Marimba One as being eaiser to get either resonants or seperation. The Adams seems to require a harder hand. The Marimba One is more responsive and sensative. And the Marimba One lower end is famous. I love just tapping the lowest C with my finger, and feeling the ground shake!
Like Kristopher said, Nancy Zeltsman and Katarzyna Mycky play Marimba One. Adams players include Robert Van Sice, William Moersch (I think?).
These are my personal observations, you should see if you can get to one of each nearby and try themout for yourself. If money is an issue, the Marimaba One is a steal, its MUCH cheaper than the Adams.
