it comes with the territory playing stevens grip. You should see mine, they're huge. It's cool though because it's sometimes a fun way to start up a conversation with chicks... they'll say "wow four sticks at a time!!" Pretty soon you'll be proud of them because they symbolize how much you've practiced. However, mine still do open up again from time to time, usually when something important is coming up, such as a recital or audition...
