I think Michael Burritt's Waking Dreams is the best of his marimba & percussion (5 perc) pieces.

Vertigo is by Andy Harnsberger.

You might also consider Flatiron Wolf by Thom Hasenpflug or Coyote Dreams by Michael Udow.

For a blast from the past, try Marimbastuck with two percussionists by Maki Ishii. Or, change up entirely with Takemitsu's Raintree.

The required piece for the final round of the 2004 International Marimba Competition, Eckhard Kopetzki's Night of Moon Dances (4 perc), was quite good.
