Bob Lee Joined: 2005-7-11 From: Cloverdale, California Posts: 16 I'm new to the instrument, but I've been a musician all my life. I play mostly in guitar bands where everyone tunes to A=440 Hz using an electronic tuner. I see that most marimbas are tuned to A=442 Hz. What's with that? Don't they sound sharp?
