I've played this both with double lefts and with double rights at times. When I first learned it, I learned double lefts, mostly because it was easier for me (I am a lefty). Then I decided to learn the double right sticking to help my right hand overall. After doing so, I found that, for me, using the double right sticking helped me phrase to the accent, because I would put slightly more emphasis on the first right, since I was getting ready to leap to the accent.
That being said, that's just me. I have heard it played equally great with all 3 common stickings. My suggestion is to learn a few, and find what works best for you...there is no 'best' sticking.
