Thank you for that information. I'm just curious about their tuning method because it seems different from other manufacturers.

I'm just wondering how they go about tuning all the harmonics through the 6th harmonic.

According to my understanding of bar tuning there are only three so called "transverse" modes that are tuned to pitch, there may be other torsional modes that are tuned, but I'm unfamiliar with how those are tuned.

But in transverse mode the first mode is tuned by removing material from the arch on the anti-node of each of these 3 wave forms, usually in the format of fundamental, 4th harmonic and 10th harmonic respectively, or the so-called "triple" tuning method.

It sounds as if Adams is doing something different, so if anyone has information on their tuning methods and what wave forms are tuned to which harmonics I'd be curious to know what it was.

Thanks,

Brandon
