adams are my favorite mallets. i love them so much that i bought a huge case of them. if you need some let me know... i do not have two tone mallets by adams however. the brown mediums are my favorite and the red 3's.
i have a large box of the red hand made ones in three differnet hardness levels... on them it is stamped thorn holland. then written by hand 2,3,or 4 (the fours being a little harder).
i would love to know the history of this particular model if someone knows it. i bought the entire lot of a guitar store that couldn't seem to sell them. lol... i love them. i'm not really TRYING to sell them, but i have so many it is silly. they are all in mint condition and most still have their plastic bag... so i post this just because someone asked about them. every adams mallet i have played... is superb. i first discovered them at PAS in atlanta and bought my first set of the brown mediums right there at the booth. i don't have any of their two tones and none of my two sets of brown mediums are for sale... but if anyone is interested in a set or three of the red ones... let me know.
if you are looking for some good budget practice mallets... both malletshack and smith (from eBay) (two tone and others) were very impressive when considering the price. i practice with both brands sometimes and have no significant complaints jsb
